Bal Harbour, FL

The Studio took the lead on revamping the kitchen, master bath, kids' bath, and powder room in this beautiful beachfront, Bal Harbour apartment. The Interior Design concept embraces a fusion of contemporary Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, a Japanese philosophy that celebrates imperfection, simplicity, and the beauty of natural materials. The space is characterized by a harmonious blend of materials, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The kitchen features Oak wood, Ceppo di Gré stone, and venetian plaster walls, introducing both texture and authenticity. Transitioning to the master bathroom, the utilization of Dekton Marmorio imparts an elegant, bright, and lightweight aesthetic.
This choice draws inspiration from Travertino Navona, a natural stone quarried near Tivoli, east of Rome, while leveraging the strength and durability of Dekton technology. The powder room showcases a palette of muted tones – soft grays, warm beige, and browns, accompanied by Dekton Taga. This particular selection, inspired by the quartzite of the Taj Mahal, is a contemporary interpretation aligned with current trends while preserving the inherent character of natural stone. Finally, the kids' bathroom incorporates Granite Antoinette for countertops, featuring a pure white background accentuated by light brown to smoky grey veining, presenting a modern aesthetic, complemented by venetian plaster walls for an earthy and soft visual appeal.
